This is my first 3D printer that I made when I was in 9th grade using the online RepRap 3D printer plans. After I made this, I used it for most of my projects.
By using my stick welding skills, I made two accessories to make the printer more consistent and stable. This is a spooler holder that I made by welding metal pieces and giving it a proper shape. Then I mounter it to the wall. It works really well.
While printing, it used to vibrate a lot which caused each layer to have inconsistent dimensions. So I made this part by using a welding welding machine to mount the printer to the wall directly. This part improved the printer a lot.
I made a seprate shelf for my printer.
I took out a broken Power supply unit out of an old computer. Its problem was that its 3.3V power unit was not working consistently. Since my 3D printer only needs 12V and 5V, I used it by making some minor modification. I added a switch to the power supply to turn it on and off, then I removed the unnecessary lines, and made it more compact.
